OUR SETTING
At Honeysuckle Day Nursery we provide a welcoming, happy and safe “home from home” environment for children to play, learn and thrive.
Our Building
Honeysuckle Day Nursery is ideally located in Shinfield with excellent access to Reading, its surrounding towns and commuter routes. Serving both the local and extended community.
We have a large Preschool area (split between Buds and Blooms) on the ground floor, with free flow into the garden. Upstairs you can find a bright and airy baby room (Seedlings), complete with a tranquil sleep space and separate sensory area. Additionally, on the opposite side of the building there is a large room specifically for toddlers (Saplings) with direct access to their very own bathroom, ideal for children that are potty training.

A Honeysuckle child will enjoy access to a large variety of quality toys, books and activities throughout their day, both inside the setting and while exploring our fantastic gardens.
The Nursery has been thoughtfully designed to offer tailored facilities, split between rooms; separated and identified by age bands. These are flexible and intended as a guideline only. Primarily because Honeysuckle caters for every individual childs needs and we understand that their learning journey is as wonderfully unique as each of their characters.
All of our rooms offer a secure and safe play environment which is supported by passionate, professional and caring staff. Our rooms are welcoming and homely but always visually stimulating, fitted with both carpet and wet play areas. All toys are age appropriate and easily accessible. We offer a variety of messy play activities for the children to choose throughout the day which include but are certainly not limited to - paint, cornflour, sand and water.
Honeysuckle considers safeguarding our highest priority and as such implements stringent measures to keep your children safe. These include biometric entry and comprehensive CCTV systems.
Private onsite car parking is available at the front of the nursery which is easily accessible.
